PDP Guber candidate, Melaye wins own polling unit

Dino Melaye, the People Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, has been declared the winner of his polling unit.

Melaye received 210 votes to defeat the All Congress candidate (APC), Ahmed Ododo, who received 22 votes, and Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) who received 7 votes.

National Rescue Movement, People’s Redemption Party, African Democratic Party, 001, and Social Democratic Party each received 001, 002, 001, and 001.

The polling station recorded a low voter turnout of 252 out of 819 registered voters.
