JUST IN: Tinubu in closed door meeting with Ondo executives in Aso villa
President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with Ondo State political heavyweights at the State House to resolve the disagreement between the state governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, and his deputy, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Members of the National Assembly, including Senator Jimoh Ibrahim of Ondo South Senatorial District, are noticeable attendees at the ongoing meeting.
Although a complete list of attendees could not be obtained because the meeting is not open to the public, other members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are expected to attend. It is uncertain whether Governor Akeredolu or his deputy will be present.
It should be noted that The Nation had speculated about the meeting earlier in the day.
