A fire broke out in an engine oil warehouse in Kano, killing one person.
The scorching fire also damaged many of the facility’s structures. The depot is located along the Hotoro Eastern Bypass.
Firefighters from the state fire department rushed to the scene to put out the fire, as inhabitants fled for safety.
According to an eyewitness, the fire outbreak occured after an oil tanker loaded with oil arrived at the facility.
Details on the level of damage caused by the fire were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
