Dangote refinery finally begins production
The Dangote Refinery has begun production.
It began producing petroleum products earlier Friday.
According to News24 Nigeria, the world’s largest single-train oil refinery received the sixth batch of one million barrels of crude from Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) on Sunday, signaling its readiness to start production.

The one million barrels of Agbami crude grade provided by MT ALMI SUN were the sixth to complete the six million barrels consignment slated to be delivered to the Dangote facility, which were needed to begin operations at the $20 billion project.
