BREAKING: Supreme Court reserves judgment in Nasarawa guber dispute
The Supreme Court has postponed decision in an appeal seeking to remove Kebbi State Governor Dr Nasir Idris of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
On Tuesday, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, who presided over a five-member panel of the Supreme Court, declared that the judgment had been reserved and that parties would be contacted when it was ready for delivery.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the recent governorship election in Kebbi State, Major General Aminu Bande, is via his appeal seeking the court to set aside the verdict of the Court of Appeal, which validated Idris’ election as done previously by the electoral tribunal.
