JUST IN: 10 escape death by whiskers as private jet crash-lands in Ibadan

On Friday, a private jet crashed at Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state.

According to Channels TV, the jet crashed at 11 a.m. with approximately ten people on board.

The jet, registered N580KR, veered off the runway and into the surrounding woods.

Firefighters and rescue personnel from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) were quickly dispatched to the incident. However, no deaths or casualties were documented.

“It was a private plane from Abuja. It landed safely but overshot the runway. There was no casualty,” a spokesperson for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Carol Adekotujo, told the television station.
