Kidnapped Ekiti school children regain freedom

The abducted pupils and teachers in Emure, Ekiti, have been released.

The students and their instructors, numbering nine, who were kidnapped in their school bus along Emure Eporo road last week were released at 2am today.

Mr Adebayo Oluwatosin, Chairman of Emure Local Government, verified to Radio Nigeria that the victims were now in the Palace of Elemure in Emure, Ekiti.

He said the driver was slain, while the other eight regained their freedom.

The police have yet to confirm this development.
