Pauline Aku Odinkemelu is a well-trained lawyer and financial specialist who was selected to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Monetary Policy Committee.
Aku Odinkemelu graduated from the prestigious Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
She has a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons) degree from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, a Barrister at Law (BL) degree from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, and dual MBA degrees from IMD Switzerland and CKGSB, China.
Odinkemelu is a non-executive director and the head of audit and finance of Nord Oil APS & Energy Services Group. She served as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Polaris Bank Limited’s Board Credit Committee.
She is on the Pioneer Board of Trustees at Spiritan University in Nneochi.
Odinkemelu worked as the assistant General Manager of Access Bank Plc from 2000 to 2004, and then at Guaranty Trust Assurance Plc (formerly AXA Mansard) from 2009 to 2011.
From 2015 until 2019, Odinkemelu served on the Audit and Risk Committee of the Nigerian Interbank Settlement System, as well as the Credit and Risk Committee.
Odinkemelu joined Fidelity Bank Plc in 2014 as Executive Director, South Directorate, and served till 2019.
Odinkemelu is also an Independent Non-Executive Director at Klasha Technologies Inc, a digital business based in Lagos and San Francisco that develops a variety of cross-border e-commerce solutions for African markets.
Odinkemelu joined the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Monetary Policy Committee in February 2024.
