NAF pilots escape death by whiskers as aircraft crashes in Kaduna

Two Nigerian Air Force (NAF) pilots averted death after their Super Mushshak trainer aircraft was engaged in a minor mishap on Thursday.

Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, the NAF’s spokesman, confirmed this in a news release Thursday.

He stated that the accident occurred approximately 3.5 nautical miles from Kaduna Military Airfield at around 2.35pm and included two pilots returning from a routine training flight.

Air Vice Marshal Gabkwet stated that the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has requested a preliminary investigation to determine the immediate cause of the crash.
