BNXN apologizes to Davido after ‘disrespecting’ him
Daniel Benson, also known as BNXN, has apologized after his colleague Dremo reprimanded him for ‘disrespecting’ Davido.
On Thursday, BNXN poured shade at Davido while bantering with a DMW boss fan on X.
Davido, who appeared to be offended by the criticism, removed a tweet in which he hinted a collaboration with BNXN.
Despite Davido’s anger, BNXN pledged to release the song even without his agreement, reiterating that he composed “everything” and claimed that fans blew his post “out of proportion.”
However, he apologised on Thursday night after DMW signee, Dremo scolded him for “disrespecting” his boss.
Dremo tweeted, “@BNXN that tweet was mad disrespectful bro, you can’t be tweeting like you don’t know fans will blow shit out of proportion cos you clearly knew what you…”
Quoting his tweet, BNXN wrote: “No yawa. I’m sorry.”

AY, Basketmouth reconcile after 18-year feud
In a surprising turn of events, Nigerian comedy heavyweights AY Makun and Basketmouth have reconciled after nearly two decades of tension.
The pair shocked fans on Wednesday with a collaborative skit shared on Instagram, marking their first public collaboration since their fallout in 2006.
The skit, which also featured veteran actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), was created to promote their upcoming films.
The longstanding feud between AY and Basketmouth reportedly stemmed from a financial disagreement. In a March 2023 interview with Chude Jideonwo, AY revealed that the conflict began when Basketmouth allegedly failed to pay him for a gig.
According to AY, he had performed at an event Basketmouth organized, for which the organizers had paid Basketmouth N30,000. However, AY claimed he never received the payment.
Despite the allegation, Basketmouth chose not to directly respond at the time and expressed his desire to avoid further interaction with AY. Their feud, which lasted over 18 years, had cast a shadow over their careers and divided their fan bases.
Now, with both comedians seemingly ready to move on, they are focusing on their individual projects. Basketmouth’s highly anticipated movie, A Ghetto Love Story, is set to premiere on November 22, while AY’s latest film, The Waiter, will hit theaters on December 20.
This reconciliation has delighted fans and raised hopes for more future collaborations between the two comedy icons.
