A fire broke out early Tuesday morning at Owode Market in Offa, Kwara State, burning multiple shops.
It was reported that the inferno had damaged numerous shops.
A video of the incident, obtained by the Nation, captured the moment some of the store owners watched their properties destroyed by fire.
“This light is too much. This is not caused by NEPA (electricity). Maybe some people were cooking and the fire started from there because this light is much,” one of the traders said in the video.
