Kylian Mbappé’s X account hacked, controversial tweets posted

Kylian Mbappé’s X account was hacked early Thursday, leading to a series of controversial tweets that have sparked widespread reactions across the platform.

The hackers posted derogatory remarks about Lionel Messi, including claims that Messi was set to join Manchester United.

One tweet stated, “Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest football player of all time. The midget [Lionel Messi] is NOT my goat.”

Additionally, the hackers targeted Chelsea, implying that the club is underperforming, with one tweet stating, “Chelsea are washed, g.” Other posts included “Manchester is Red” and a tongue-in-cheek message hinting at a future transfer: “Yo @ManCity… lool baited I’m going to @ManUTD. 2028 LET’S RUN IT UP ON A FREE TRANSFERRRR.”

The hacked account also praised the fan account @UTDTrey as “the best account” while disparaging Tottenham with a harsh remark.

Reports indicate that the hack may be linked to the ‘MBAPPE’ crypto token, which saw its value surge to tens of millions of pounds shortly after the tweets were posted, only to plummet back to zero shortly thereafter.

As of now, Mbappé has not publicly addressed the incident.
