NTPC Final Dividend: State-owned NTPC has paid a final dividend of Rs 3,248 crore to its administrative Ministry of Power for the financial year 2024-25. With this, the total dividend paid by NTPC during FY25 stands at Rs 8,096 crore.
“NTPC paid its final dividend of Rs 3,248 crore on 25th September 2025 for FY25, representing 33.50% of the paid-up equity share capital of the company. The total dividend paid for FY25 is Rs 8,096 crore,” NTPC Ltd said in a post on X on September 26.

NTPC CMD Gurdeep Singh, along with the Board of Directors, presented the final dividend payment advice to Power Minister Manohar Lal in the presence of Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), on September 25, the company states.
This is in addition to the first interim dividend of Rs 2,424 crore and a second interim dividend of Rs 2,424 crore paid in November 2024 and February 2025, respectively, it added.
The total dividend paid for FY 2024-25 is Rs 8,096 crore, at a rate of Rs 8.35 per share of a face value of Rs 10 each.
This is the 32nd consecutive year that NTPC Ltd has paid a dividend.
NTPC Group, with around 84,000 MW of installed power generation capacity, is India’s largest electricity company.
NTPC Starts Commercial Operation At Nokh Solar Project
The company Ltd has started commercial operations of 167 MW at plot 1 of the Nokh Solar Project in Rajasthan. With this, the total installed and commercial capacity of NTPC on a standalone and group basis now becomes 60,705 MW and 83,863 MW, respectively.
“Consequent upon successful commissioning, 167 MW out of 245 MW capacity at Plot-1 of NTPC’s Nokh Solar PV Project (3x245MW), Rajasthan, is declared on commercial operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs. of September 26, 2025,” it said in a regulatory filing on Thursday.
