Charli XCX opened up about her changing thoughts on beauty, revealing that she might get a mid-facelift in the future.
The 33-year-old pop star admitted that she has always been fascinated by cosmetic surgery and previously got Botox, though she later stopped using it.
In her new cover interview with Vanity Fair, Charli shared that she often thinks about how she looks and what she could alter.
“I’m always thinking about how I look and what I would change about my face,” she said.
The 360 singer explained that she constantly considers what she could “pull and stretch” but reminds herself not to get too caught up in those thoughts.
The Sympathy is a Knife hitmaker revealed that Botox began affecting her acting auditions. “I miss it,” she admitted.
“I did a couple of audition tapes where I had Botox, and my eyebrows were doing that crazy thing when they kind of lift.”
Charli, singer and songwriter who is currently said to be in a beef with Taylor Swift, has long faced speculation about cosmetic work. In 2024, injector Molly Bailey compared photos of her from 2013 and 2024, suggesting possible treatments like an eyebrow lift, lip fillers, and Botox.
However, the Speed Drive singer responded lightheartedly, writing, “Omg I’m obsessed w this s***.”
She also joked about needing “more Botox before accepting any awards” in 2023.
Speaking about online rumours, the music icon said she no longer bothers correcting false claims. “If enough people say that it is true on the internet, it becomes the truth,” she said. She added, “Fact-checking is dead.”
Moreover, Charli further admitted that she sometimes says too much, confessing, “I have a big mouth, and I say s*** and sometimes it gets me in trouble.”
