Liev Schreiber ‘immediately’ hospitalised after unusual headache condition

Liev Schreiber was reportedly rushed to a New York City hospital over the weekend after experiencing what he described to his doctor as a “massive headache.”

According to TMZ, the doctor urged him to get checked out immediately, and the actor was then kept overnight for precaution while undergoing several tests.

Sources told the outlet that despite the alarming symptom, Schreiber was still able to talk and walk normally when he arrived at the hospital.

No further medical details have been shared yet, and his condition remains unclear as tests continue.

Schreiber has had a long and varied career across film, television and theater, earning recognition for projects like Spotlight, Scream, Isle of Dogs and A Small Light

He also headlined the hit series Ray Donovan from 2013 to 2020, portraying the title character across seven seasons. Most recently, he appeared in Netflix’s 2024 drama The Perfect Couple, playing Tag Winbury opposite Nicole Kidman.

His personal life has also seen major milestones in recent years. Schreiber married Taylor Neisen in July 2023 after six years together.

One month later, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Hazel Bee. He is also the father of two older children, Sasha, 18, and Kai, 16, whom he shares with actress Naomi Watts.

Although Schreiber and Watts ended their 11-year relationship in 2016, they’ve continued to co-parent smoothly.

Earlier this year, they reunited for Sasha’s high school graduation, even posing for cheerful family photos.

Another snapshot showed Watts, now married to Billy Crudup, and Schreiber standing together with their spouses, reflecting how the blended family has maintained a supportive relationship.

For now, Schreiber remains under medical observation, with fans waiting for updates as doctors work to determine what caused the sudden and unusual headache.
